"Catholic School Girl Post-Reunion Binge Drink"
Note: This took place in a dream

Dramatis Personae
The Schoolchildren: the age of innocence
Distayne - the first out of place school girl
Myself - the second out of place school girl

The two of us, the two out of place school girls who are two old to be in this setting, stood out in the field with a gaggle of schoolchildren. Left stranded by the busses that were supposed to take us home. In that moment, we had both cosmically been taken from our adult lives over 2000 miles apart and reunited as melancholic catholic school girls. The atmosphere was as always, silence where she may as well have said "Oh, Vivian, you sad, pathetic, lonely girl. I feel bad for you so I'm staying here, but you are far too annoying so all of your words are going in one ear and out the other" because she's definitely thinking it.

We're only twenty-two days apart in age but I always felt like a child with her. She was always the one who led the way, she was always the one who knew everything. She leads me away from the crowd and up to a balcony in an alleyway. We exchange awkward conversation as we get drunk and I mentally block out the sight of her cutting lines of cocaine. I tell her a story and she indifferently mutters "that's nice...". It pains me that at this point we've drifted so far that we can't even hold a conversation. We never make eye contact and we never smile at each other.

I looked over the balcony and saw Jesus being carried to his tomb. I looked up and saw the virgin Mary. She gazes to Jesus's face and delicate tears stream out of her eyes. In that moment I felt like I understood everything.

When I came home in the early hours of the following morning, I wandered around the house feeling defeated and humiliated in my disoriented state until I puked. It was just a little bit, I could taste the vomit and feel it coming up out of my throat so well, I was almost perplexed when I woke up and saw it hadn't actually happened.

"You used to be one of the rotten ones and I liked you for that. Now you're all gone, got your makeup on, and you're not coming back.
Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me.
Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me.
Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me.
Park that car, drop that phone, sleep on the floor, dream about me."
